What is the first thing Alysa Salzberg does in the morning? Feed my cat. I can’t imagine what would happen to me if I didn’t.
Title of her autobiography? “Neurotic Journeyer: The Alysa Salzberg Story”
Last moment of bravery? Quitting my job to go into business for myself and live my dream.
Wants to… ? help animals, publish a novel, go whale watching, and visit Istanbul.
What makes you a Burgundy Girl?
When I was learning to talk, I made up my own language. Since then, I’ve never stopped doing things differently. I don’t always succeed, but I try to do what I can to make my dreams happen.
Something you’d like to share? International Bird Rescue. This group amazes me. They help all kinds of birds in all kinds of situations, from victims of oil spills, to victims of abuse. I donate to them whenever I can. Even a small amount can go a long way: certain dish soap brands are able to remove oil from feathers and fur.
